JF.Vidraceiros: «We heard about the Proliner and we immediately knew we had to get it! It is nowadays an indispensable tool!»

Founded more than 20 years ago, JF.Vidraceiros it’s a family business company, located in Fátima, home to the Sanctuary of Fátima, a Catholic pilgrimage site, in central Portugal.

The CEO of the company José Fernandes brings with him 40 years of experience in the glass industry. The need at the time made him start in this sector and didn’t leave ever since: started working on behalf of another, later created a company in partnership with 2 other partners, and finally founded his own company, JFVidraceiros, in which his wife Fátima Lino and son Diogo Fernandes are part of it.

The company specializes in a wide variety of uses: staircases, shower screens, balcony screens, kitchen glass, mirrors, shop fronts, among others.

JF.Vidraceiros is always one step ahead when it comes to technologies, as these will enable the development of the company. They have floating glass and laminated glass-cutting machines, edge-cutting machines, washers, cranes, CNC, drilling machines, and a glass assembly robot on site. In addition to these, and to facilitate even more work and become more efficient, they are proud users of the Proliner.

When in conversation with Diogo Fernandes about their experience with the Proliner, he explained: We like to visit trade fairs because there we discover new machines and tools that could innovate our business, We heard about the Proliner and saw it in action. We immediately knew we had to get it!  We use it very often. It is a device that is, nowadays, indispensable!»

He continues: «The features I appreciated the most, are the ease of making templates, the speed, and its efficiency, which makes the work easier. The fact that I no longer need to make cardboard templates and go to rectify the measurements, it’s amazing, and as they say, ‘time is money’! Also, there are no more mistakes on the measurements, even on more difficult ones.»
